AECOM, the world’s trusted infrastructure firm, which is currently commissioned by the UK Government in the re-writing of various sections of the Manual of Contract Documents for Highways Works, Specification for Highways Works, has also been independently commissioned by Ecofill to produce our comprehensive Quality Management Plan.

This Quality Management Plan covers the design, production and quality control of the Ecofill products, which ensures that the Ecofill products meet the relevant National and European standards for Highways and Earthworks.

The Supply Chain Sustainability School

Ecofill is a proud member of The Supply Chain Sustainability School who’s vision is completely aligned with ours which promotes an industry where everyone will have the skills and knowledge to deliver a sustainable future. We were quickly awarded with a Bronze membership status and worked hard to achieve Silver not long after. Our team are now working steadily towards being awarded Gold membership status.

Ensuring our team and the wider Ecofill operation are fully equipped with the most up to date and relevant knowledge is paramount to the overall success of our business.

Working with the Supply Chain Sustainability School and their 175 major clients, contractors and suppliers, will assist Ecofill in providing our clients with real solutions to the industry challenges we face today.

This includes key topics such as sustainability and procurement, along with high priority issues such as Decarbonisation, Net Zero and Embodied Carbon, Transitioning Towards a Circular Economy, Biodiversity Net Gain, and Improving Air Quality.

Ecofill Product Specification

The Ecofill structural materials are designed, produced, tested & validated to meet all the National specification requirements & performance levels for Highways & Earthworks as laid out by the Standards for Highways, Manual of Contract Documents for Highways Works (MCHW), Specification for Highways Works, Series 600, 800 and/or BSEN 14227.

All Ecofill products are fully tested by independent, UKAS accredited laboratories.

The UK Green Building Council

We are delighted to be a member of the UK Green Building Council whose aim is is to unite the UK building industry using sustainability as a catalyst to positively transform the places people use every day.

The UKGBC was established to offer clarity, cohesion and leadership to our sector and to campaign for a sustainable built environment.

Our membership allows Ecofill to actively engage in research, innovation, education and leadership and the 600 strong, diverse network of industry relevant organisations, affords Ecofill an extended opportunity to share our vision.

The UKGBC is an ideal platform in assisting Ecofill in achieving our goals and objectives which include educating those within the construction of the built environment, showcasing a sustainable & modern method of construction and, in building a better future.
